What's in a Good Food Box and How Much Does it Cost?
The selection of produce changes with the seasons according to what is available locally, is good quality and affordable at the time.
Spring/Summer.Boxes will have some or all of the following: Potatoes, onions, carrots, zucchini, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, green beans, cucumber, cherries, peaches, apricots.
Fall/Winter.Boxes will have some or all of the following: Potatoes, onions, carrots, squash, cabbage, broccoli, green and red peppers, beets, garlic, leeks, oranges, bananas, apples and pears.
Good Food Boxes come in 2 sizes, small and large:
From February 2020, Good Food Box prices are as follows:
A Small Box is suitable for a household of 1-2 costs $12.
A Large Box is suitable for a household of 3 or more and costs $20.
We also offer a “Sustaining” Large Box for $25, with the extra $5 going to support the program.
